Our HDPE coated duplex paper for food packaging is a type of paper with a layer of HDPE film that protects the products against moisture. We manufacture newsprint and butchers papers which provide a superior blood and grease barrier (gsm 60+HD, gsm 70+HD and gsm 80+HD). Our HD duplex papers are often used by supermarkets, butcher shops, fish markets and delicatessens for standard wrapping of meats, cheese, fish, deli items, chips and generally fresh food products characterized by high umidity and presence of grease or oil. The advantage of the HDPE coated paper is a far easier recycling process, which can begin already during the separate household waste collection as the polyethylene film, coupled to paper by means of a cold process, can be easily peeled out and separated from the paper by the consumer. The sheets can be supplied in different sizes and can be custom printed with personalised logos for enhanced brand presentation.
