BIO-ART was founded on August 18th, 1977 as a new business venture by Mr. Germano José Piccin, beginning with the production of articulators. From the very first order, the philosophy has been: ”To innovate, heeding the opinion maker public and developing products that meet the market's needs”. Following this philosophy, BIO-ART has grown and developed in the knowledge that to be a market leader means to be dictating trends at the forefront, developing and delivering intelligent solutions for the health sector and social well-being. This knowledge has led the Company to manage ongoing investments in innovative technology to improve the quality of its products, processes, employees and suppliers while preserving the fundamental values of cordiality, ethics, honesty, professionalism and sustainability.
The quality management systems have received the following certifications:
• ISO 9001 certified by BVC, since 2003;
• Certificate of Good Manufacturing Practices issued by the National Health Surveillance Agency of the Brazilian Ministry of Health, since 2004;
• ISO 13485 certified by BVC, since 2006;
• CE certification for the most of its products.
The Company leads the Brazilian market in almost everything that produces. Its leadership position is also evidenced in the international market with the production of semi-adjustable articulators, reaching approximately 400.000 units sold globally and ranking among the top 3 for vacuum forming machines. The sales extend to over 60 countries in all continents, standing out in Latin America with the greatest market-share of articulators. The best recognition, however, lies in the customer's satisfaction. In essence, BIO-ART provides products with the best cost/benefit ratio and pursue excellence in every market in which participates by employing the most qualified professionals and keeping in touch with the needs of the market.
For all this, BIO-ART deserved and is proud to announce that it was the prizewinner of the Apex-Brasil Award for Excellence in Exporting held in May 2014. The prize occurs every two years and is the most prestigious award for international trade in Brazil.
