The Didion family has been in the foundry industry since 1875. DIDION, the Machinery Company, was founded in 1974 when Charles J. Didion, a third generation foundryman, realized the inherent pitfalls in vibratory shakeout systems and developed DIDION Rotary Processing Machinery. His numerous inventions revolutionized shakeout, reclamation,sand screens, casting cleaning/cooling, and the sand blending/cooling needs of the foundry industry.

The equipment was patented internationally and the company has grown to include over 1000 machines in 48 countries worldwide.
