ECO-702 is diffusion pump oil that is often used to replace Dow Corning’s DC-702 diffusion pump oil. It is a fast pumping silicone based oil engineered for large volumes where ultimate vacuum range produced is 10E-5 to 10E-7 torr.<br />
<br />
ECO-702 is also used in vapor ejector pumps where a vacuum of 10E-5 torr can be produced.<br />
<br />
ECO- 702 is a not as strong as ECO-704 and 705, but perfect for general use. It is also mixture of phenylmethyl and dimethyl cyclosiloxane making it resistant to oxidation and hydrolysis. Simply, the best and most affordable choice for applications such as heat treat ovens and furnaces, vacuum metallurgy, aluminizing TV tubes, and etc.<br />
