Bright Bar, located in Orrville, Ohio and Cartersville, Georgia, produces cold finished steel bars for steel service centers and other markets across the U.S. Our Orrville location produces flats and squares, and our Cartersville facility produces flats, squares, rounds, and hexagons. Bright Bar mechanically de-scales hot-rolled bars and cold-draws them through a die, then shears, straightens, and packages the bars for shipment. <br><br>Cold finished steel offers many benefits, including close size tolerance and concentricity, straightness, strength, a smooth finish, precise mechanical properties, and greater machinability. The finished product has a shiny appearance that explains the common use of the term "bright bar." Cold finished products are used to manufacture precise components in almost every industry. <br><br>Bright Bar operates a 45,000 square-foot facility in Orrville, built from the ground up in 1999 to produce high-quality cold finished bars in the most efficient manner possible. Our Cartersville, Georgia location, built in 1989, encompasses 90,000 square feet, and offers three highly-efficient production lines. <br>
