Description

Ultrasonic level gauges are non-contact, highly reliable, cost-effective, and easy-to-install and maintain field measuring devices suitable for measuring liquids, slurries, and solids. They are widely used in water treatment, municipal engineering, chemical industry, metallurgy, and machinery manufacturing. The ultrasonic level gauge, under the functional control of its integrated unit and electronic components, emits sound waves above 20kHz towards the object being measured. The echoes, partially reflected by the object's surface, are received by the probe and converted into electrical signals. The time from ultrasonic wave emission to its re-reception is proportional to the distance. By detecting this time and calculating the measured distance based on the known speed of sound, the level value can be calculated.
