Tungsten nickel iron alloy is a tungsten-based (about 90-98%) and added nickel, iron, copper or other components of the alloy, the proportion is generally 17.0 to 18.5.
Ratio
Tungsten nickel-iron alloy is an important tungsten-based heavy alloy. They are alloys that add nickel and iron to tungsten, and those that add other metallic elements to this basis. The nickel-iron ratio added is generally 7:3 or 1:1.
Characteristics
Tungsten nickel ferroalloy is characterized by high sintering density, good strength and plasticity, and a certain ferromagnetic ity. Good plasticity and cutting, good thermal conductivity and conductivity, and excellent absorption of gamma or X-rays.
Significant ratio: the general proportion is 16.5-18.75g/cm3;
High strength: tensile strength of 700-1000Mpa;
Absorption of radiation capacity: 30-40% higher than lead;
The thermal conductivity of tungsten alloy is 5 times that of mold steel.
The coefficient of thermal expansion is small: only 1/2-1/3 of iron or steel;
Good conductive performance, because of its good conductivity and widely used in the lighting and welding industry;
Good weldability and processability.
Use
Tungsten nickel iron alloy has a wide range of applications and has become the largest use of the main tungsten-based heavy alloy. As a general application, such as counterweight, balance hammer, radiation shielding device, etc. , are directly used in combination with the gold, but as the application requires high mechanical properties, tungsten nickel iron alloy needs to be deformed processing and heat treatment to achieve reinforcement.
Tungsten nickel iron alloy is mainly used in the manufacture of gyroscope rotors, guide devices and shock absorbers for aerospace and spacecraft, die-casting molds, knife clips, barttes and automatic watch hammers for mechanical manufacturing, armor-piercing cores for conventional weapons, riveting and switch contacts for electrical products, and various anti-ray shielding components.
