➤Sterilization Guidelines
To maintain hygiene and safety, follow these sterilization methods for your scissors:
1. Autoclaving (Steam Sterilization):
- Temperature: 121°C (250°F)
- Time: 15–30 minutes at 15 psi pressure
2. Dry Heat Sterilization:
- Temperature: 160°C–180°C (320°F–356°F)
- Time: 1–2 hours
3. Chemical Disinfection:
- Use 70%–90% isopropyl alcohol or an EPA-registered disinfectant
- Soak for 10–15 minutes and allow to air dry
