Cetane improving diesel fuel additive 2-EHN “Siberia” (99.5%) improves the cetane number which allows to start the engine in low temperature conditions , also improves the ecological characteristics of the fuel.
Advantages of 2-EHN «Siberia» additive:
• Interchangeable with additives of foreign production
• Applied in package with antiwear and the dispersant and depressor additives with full saving of characteristics of diesel fuel, including long storage
• Tests of diesel fuel with the Additive shoed that domestic additive doesn’t concede on quality to foreign analogs

Mixing Technology of 2-EHN “Siberia”:
After addition of 0.6% of the additive to diesel fuel the cetane number from 48 units raises to 57.8. Diesel Fuel EURO in accordance with GOST P 52368-2005 as a result of working tests of cetane improver additives showed itself from the best side. It is confirmed by the following test reports
Where to use 2-EHN “Siberia”:
It is possible to distinguish three main directions of use of additive 2-ethylhexyl nitrate:

• Average distillates with narrow fractional structure and temperature distillation indicators:
DT (92-20%) from 70 to 100 °С, DT (final boiling point – 90%) from 17 to 25 °C,
• Wide fractions of distillates with DT value ( 90-20%) from 100 to 120 ° final boiling point below 380 °C (distillation by ASTM d 86 method)
• High-boiling distillates with final boiling point above 380 °

It is recommended to use cetane improver additives with dispersant and depressor and antiwear ones. Their combined use allows to achieve increase in profit of oil refinery, it occurs at the expense of the high selling cost of diesel fuel which comes true to increase quality of ignition, low noise of the engine, the reduced issue and easy start in cold

Effect of 2-EHN “Siberia” in numbers:
After adding 0,6% of additive in diesel fuel cetane number increasing from 48 to 57,8. Diesel Fuel Euro by GOST Р 52368-2005According to working test cetane additive showed best results.
Recommend amount of use – from 0,6% to 1% on liter volume. (100% diesel fuel + from 0,6% to 1% of additive)
