Plug-in sleeve float and floating shoe API or as needed

Plug-in float hoops and shoe are an improved method of cementing large diameter casing. With plug-in float hoops and shoes, the drill pipe is inserted directly into the floating shoe or float hoop and the cement is pumped through the drill pipe until it returns to the ground. The cement can then be moved to the bottom of the drill pipe using a wiping dart. The drill pipe is then lifted, cycled and pulled out of the hole.

In addition, the cement must be separated from the slurry using a large plug and must be drilled along with any cement in the casing. Stab In Float collar & shoe is used to cement large diameter casings placed on drill pipes. Due to the high displacement of large diameter casings, special cementing considerations are proposed for the strings.

Features:

Small diameter inner string drill pipe is used to replace cement, minimizing the replacement volume behind the cement, thereby reducing contamination and saving time.
Drilling out of cement in large casings is minimized by controlling plunger valves in the top of the cement and in the Stab in the shoe with the displacement fluid in the drill pipe
Improved displacement accuracy – cement mixing and pumping continues until the cement backflow reaches the ground
Achieve better cement quality – reduce cement/mud interface area and high flow rates in the rig
Pipes minimize cement contamination while short pumping times eliminate the need for cement retarders
Reduced cement usage – Whereas conventional displacement requires calculating excess cement coefficients, with the Stab-in method, excess cement does not need to be larger than the volume of the drill pipe. No large plugs are required
Reduced net drilling time – Cycle, pumping and drilling time are minimized
Protective casing – cementing pressure is limited to the drill pipe during extrusion operations
Plug-in cementing equipment sizes are 4-1/2"-36"
Plug-in cement floats and collars are also available with double valves and any combination.
