The 1100 aluminum coil is the commercially pure alloy of all aluminum grades. 1100 aluminum sheets can be used in a variety of applications, including chemical storage and processing equipment. The advantages of 1100 aluminum plates compared to other grades of aluminum include an aluminum content of 99% or higher. 1100 is a low strength aluminum alloy with excellent corrosion resistance. This grade is best suited for welding, brazing and soldering, but is less machinable. The 1100 aluminium sheet has excellent finishing ability and is therefore an excellent choice for decorative use.
The aluminum 1100 can be molded into many different products, most commonly found in railway tank cars, rear fins, dials, cookware, name plans, chemical equipment, dials, etc. In addition to many other industries, 1100 aluminum plates are often used in the plumbing and lighting industry
