Features of SPZn-100 Zinc Acrylic Self-Polishing Resin: SPZn-100 is an economical base resin for self-polishing antifouling coatings in Wuxi. Its improved and optimized resin structure ensures a continuous and stable release of antifouling agents. It has a fast hydrolysis rate, making it suitable for vessels operating in near-shore environments. It is suitable for formulations containing cuprous oxide, and its use in conjunction with rosin (CDP) can further reduce costs. Self-polishing antifouling coatings prepared using SPZn-100 resin have an antifouling period of 36 months (actual antifouling period depends on the coating formulation, vessel navigation conditions, and sea area), comply with environmental regulations, and feature low VOC content and stable polishing rate. Recommended antifouling system: Cuprous oxide + copper pyrithione or DCOIT/metopidine.
