Almost 15 years of working in partnership made the small space of 40 square meters give way to three stores. The two employees, on the other hand, became a team of 65, responsible for sales of underwear, beach and fitness. The small investment money was practically everything that the couple, who have been together since adolescence, had kept. He, from the first business he opened in the city at the age of 15 - a video store. She has been working in a lingerie factory since she was 12. The first store was opened in January 2006. Without the necessary capital, the team was summed up by Letícia as a seamstress, model maker and saleswoman, and Daniel, who managed all the financial aspects and took care of the logistics of deliveries. The small space functioned as a factory and shop. “Without it, it wouldn't be possible. I don't know how to draw, I don't know how to sew, just like Leticia had difficulties in entrepreneurship. This she got over time. Earring that is like a football game. An exchange passes all the time. Even in the areas we dominate, sometimes we need each other ”, points out Daniel.Parceria Being married and working in the same place means being together almost 24 hours, which requires a lot of maturity. It takes balance between personal and professional life. This part, the two take the letter, focusing on the commitment to the brand, which today is already known in the city. JuruaiaPlanning The walls of the office at the back of the factory are crammed with panels and graphics. Colored post-it notes distinguish which are the main problems to be solved, what has worked and helped in the strategies. All this care for the brand that was born 14 years ago has a name: planning. As a matter of fact, it has given a lot of results. The team has increased a lot and small space has expanded to three stores in the city. “In 2012, we doubled in size. Sales increased, the staff increased and the structure improved. Everything worked out. One of our water dividers was that we won our first outstanding prize ”, says Daniel. Since its creation, clothing has not stopped growing in any year. Despite the severe economic crisis that hit the country, Juruaia continued to profit from the lingerie market. Now, with the country's GDP growing again, the couple forecasts a 20% increase in sales in 2020. “What keeps us steady is our purpose. We never give up ”, adds Letícia.
