Marcopolo SA is bringing people together since 1949, year when it started its entrepreneurship in a continuous way. Company has its name connected to passenger’s carrier history, it was founded in Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul Province, it used to be called Nicola & Cia Ltda.
In 1971, thanks to its successful launching bus “Marcopolo”, it started to be named after Marcopolo SA

Continuous growth consolidated the organization, which has already manufactured in Brazil and abroad, within 62 years, 300.000 buses, with a work force of more than 18.000 collaborators.
