Founded in 1971 in Sete Lagos, Minas Gerais, <b>SICAFE</b> began operations with just a blast furnace to produce pig iron to meet domestic market demand.<br><br>Throughout this period the company has been developed and two blast furnaces were built to meet international demand. Today SICAFE has an installed capacity of 168,000 tons / year of pig iron lingotado and homogenized for foundries and steelworks. The group also owns a company SICAFE Afforestation / Reforestation and acts in the business of operating a factoring market development.
