IOTA-OPSZ-9150 is a transparent, batch-produced, and stably prepared polysilazane resin. Its structural formula is as follows: Due to the presence of Si-NH-Si bonds, this product can cure at room temperature. The main reactions involved in curing are the hydrolysis and oxidation of Si-NH-Si. Simultaneously, the Si-NH-Si bonds readily react with the -OH groups on the substrate surface, resulting in excellent adhesion. Adding appropriate catalysts to the resin can further promote the reactions of Si-H and Si-NH-Si, forming a three-dimensional cross-linked structure after curing, giving the material excellent mechanical properties and a hardness of up to 9H. After curing, it is a transparent solid with resistance to alcohols, ketones, and other organic solvents. It is a single-component product, soluble in ethers, alkanes, and other solvents, but should not be diluted with alcohols or water.
