The stereotactic equipment Bramsys BMS-125E helps the neurosurgeon to locate targets in biopsy procedures, brain abscess drainage, guided surgery, drainage and removal of hematoma, implantation isotope for irradiation inside out or intracavitary, application in brachytherapy, surgery implantation of electrodes for stimulation (DBS) and injury of brain structures by radio.<br />
Allows navigation based on the spatial coordinates obtained by surgical planning using specialized software. Using tomographic and magnetic resonance images, together with the stereotactic reference, planning software provides the stereotactic coordinates as well as the entry path of the cannula or electrode, providing the neurosurgeon the ability to locate and accurately achieve the desired target.
